Sampath Kumar Barengodi is a Senior Member Technical Staff at Thermo Fisher Scientific with over 15 years of experience in IoT and Cloud-Based solutions. He is responsible for collaborations across multiple internal teams within organizations and interactions with partner and Product management in the solution design, development, or implementation of IoT and Cloud-Based solutions. He has a good working knowledge of IoT Strategy, standards, and protocols. In partnership with solution architects and Product owners, Sampath formulates and executes a strategy to drive adoption of AWS Cloud. He has taken an initiative to drive organization-level AWS cost optimization and best practices. He has implemented OAuth for user authorization to use third-party applications in Thermo Fisher cloud platform, based on OAuth 2.0 Specification. He has also integrated the payment system with RBS WorldPay Payment Services. Sampath has managed and mentored a group of application developers, assigned responsibilities, elaborated use cases, managed project schedules, and module targets. He has experience in implementing RESTful services following DDD and TDD standards. Sampath has worked with Oracle as a Systems Analyst Tools & Development, where he architected a Struts-2, Spring JDBC, REST Web services, jQuery, and Oracle-based Web application. He has also developed a generic mail send module using Apache Velocity, PL/SQL procedure. He has gathered business requirements and wrote functional specifications, detailed design documents, and developed core modules for Go live and multiple version release. Sampath has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University and a Diploma in Computer Science from Karnataka Polytechnic Mangalore. His tech stack includes AWS, Software Engineer, product manager, Integration, Java, Mobile, Web, SQL, Spring, and test.
